Sky replacement that only touches the sky
Grey exteriors are the single most common reason a shoot gets sent back. This swaps the sky and leaves everything else alone, so the roofline stays sharp and the trees keep their edges.
- 1 credit per photo, together with window pull and perspective
- Two looks: Daytime and Clear sky
- Runs across a whole shoot in one batch, not photo by photo

What the tool actually does
Only the sky changes
The sky is matted out and composited, so the roofline, branches and any glass reflecting the sky keep their original detail. This is the part cheap sky tools get wrong, and it is what makes an edit obvious to an agent.
Built for the batch, not the hero shot
At 1 credit a photo this is the bulk tool. Select every exterior in a shoot and run them together rather than opening each one.
Two honest looks
Daytime gives a soft light-blue sky with thin cloud. Clear sky gives a clean blue with the time of day left alone. Neither pushes into the saturated, dramatic look that reads as fake.
What sky replacement will not do
- It replaces a sky. It will not rescue an exterior where the house itself is badly underexposed — grade that first.
- A sky seen through a window is a window pull job, not a sky replacement.
- Heavy rain, fog or a sky that is mostly obscured by trees gives the matte very little to work with.
Questions about
sky replacement
Will the edges around trees and rooflines look cut out?
The sky is matted rather than masked with a hard edge, which is what keeps fine branches and aerial detail intact. Zoom into a tree line on your own photo during the trial — that is the test that matters, and it is why the pass exists. Can I run it on a whole shoot at once?
Yes. Sky replacement is one of the tools built for the batch run: select the exteriors and they all go through together.Do I keep the original resolution and metadata?
Yes. Exports come back at the resolution you uploaded, and EXIF, XMP and ICC data are carried through to the downloaded file at 300 dpi. What if I run two edits on the same photo?
A job is charged once, at the rate of its most expensive edit: a sky replacement and a declutter on the same frame is one 2-credit job, not two charges. Fireplace and TV screens are separate tools and add 1 credit each on top.Do I need a subscription to try it?
Yes. Plans start at $15 a month for 30 credits, and unused plan credits roll over for three months. You can cancel at any time; the plan and the credits in your balance stay usable until the end of the billing period you have paid for.
