Window pull at the strength you actually want

Photographers split hard on this one. Half say the standard pull looks like a TV screen glued into the frame; half want the view they were paid to show. So it has three settings instead of one opinion.

  • 1 credit per photo
  • Three strengths: Soft, Balanced and Deep
  • Picked once and remembered for the whole listing

What the tool actually does

Three strengths, not one look

Soft — bright and airy, a hint of the view. Balanced — a natural view through the glass. Deep — full detail outside, for real views.

Two methods, chosen per photo

Where the glass still holds detail, the view is recovered from the photo's own pixels. Where it is burnt to white there is nothing left to recover, so the view is rebuilt from what is faintly visible — the same fence, the same trees — and only the glass is changed. The room keeps every pixel.

Consistent across a listing

Pick the strength once and every room in that listing gets the same treatment, so a walkthrough does not shift look between photos.

What window pull will not do

  • Where the glass is burnt to white, the view is rebuilt by an image model from what is faintly visible. It is a faithful reconstruction, not a photograph of the view: check it against the real one, and disclose it where your MLS requires edited photos to be disclosed.
  • This runs on the finished or merged frame. RAW brackets are merged into HDR first, free; if you shoot for a flambient blend, do that in your editor first.
  • A window with no blown-out glass is left alone, the run ends as a no-op and the credit is refunded automatically.

Questions about
window pull

  • Which strength should I start with?
Balanced. It is the default. Move to Soft when the room should read bright and airy, or Deep when the view out of the window is part of what is being sold.
  • Does this replace bracket blending?
No. Upload RAW brackets and Toriva merges them first, free, or blend however you do today; window pull then works on the merged frame and pulls the glass back further where it is still hot.
  • Do I keep the original resolution and metadata?
Yes. Exports come back at the resolution you uploaded, and EXIF, XMP and ICC data are carried through to the downloaded file at 300 dpi.
  • What if I run two edits on the same photo?
A job is charged once, at the rate of its most expensive edit: a sky replacement and a declutter on the same frame is one 2-credit job, not two charges. Fireplace and TV screens are separate tools and add 1 credit each on top.
  • Do I need a subscription to try it?
Yes. Plans start at $15 a month for 30 credits, and unused plan credits roll over for three months. You can cancel at any time; the plan and the credits in your balance stay usable until the end of the billing period you have paid for.
